Life is tough, and for a variety of reasons, we may end up getting down on ourselves. In those times, I’m often grateful for the presence of my dogs. They sit with me without judgement of any kind in their eyes. They simply love me, unconditionally, AS IS!
I have no doubt God meant it that way. He knew that in a world that often feels harsh, we’d need to experience the unconditional love and acceptance of our furry friends.
Always remember, you are fully known and fully loved by God. If God loves us AS IS, we should also strive to accept and love ourselves (and others), unconditionally, as is ❤️🙏🏻

Dear God, in this season of giving, help me remember to also give a gift to myself— Help me to be kind to my body and mind, to speak gently to my soul, and to accept and love the person you made me, unconditionally. Amen
