Leila Grandemange founded Grandville Cavaliers when she and her family moved to the United States. They raise, show, and share their heart and home with their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. As a small hobby breeder she is active in the show conformation ring, a member of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, USA, the Richland Kennel Club, and an AKC Breeder of Merit.
Conformation, health and temperament are priorities, as she strives toward the breed standard and excellence in all four colors: Blenheim, tricolor, ruby and Black-and-tan. Leila is grateful to all the wonderful breeders and dogs in her pedigrees who have contributed to helping her realize her dream: A breeding program which produces consistent and proper breed type, sound, happy and elegant Cavalier King Charles Spaniels which offer loving companionship and have the potential to excel in the show conformation ring, agility, pet therapy and much more.
As a way of promoting responsible dog ownership, Leila created SunnyVille Publishing in 2010 to offer pet lovers dog breed note cards and her first book, A Story of a Promising Puppy. Read more at www.sunnyvillepublishing.com
She is a member of the Dog Writers’ Association of America (DWAA) and enjoys writing for numerous publications dedicated to dogs’ welfare.

A grateful heart!
Grateful to God for the privilege of sharing life with such a noble creature, Leila dreams of a world where dogs are treated humanely, cherished and loved.
She is especially thankful to her loving family, without whom none of this would be possible ! She believes that together, we can make a difference in our world – to better the lives of the dogs we love, to educate new dog owner’s about responsible dogs ownership, to support organizations ( i.e. breed rescue) who seek to help less fortunate dogs, and most of all, simply- To lead by example.
Dogs, our true friends, our angels, our teachers, our healers. They love us unconditionally, as God intended. If we look carefully, we can learn from them how to make the world a brighter and better place. – Leila Grandemange
